Youth Home Groups
Youth Home Groups are for those in year 10 and above. Unfortunately most of us are too old to be allowed into this group …. they have a great time hanging out together and hanging out with God. These groups are a must if you belong to the Vineyard Church – they’re too good to miss!

The group meets in Crowthorne on the first and third Thursdays of each month - 7.30 -9pm.

Serving
Young people who are in year 9 and above are strongly encouraged to serve in some way at the Vineyard Church. Many of them chose to work with the younger children once a month in IGNITE – our Sunday school. The young people bring an energy and enthusiasm to the teams, which is contagious and very attractive. Through serving on such teams they connect with the wider church family.

Schools Work
Nino, our pastor, shared recently the vision for our church. He said this: "The Vineyard Church is a young church with a passion and enthusiasm to see God move amongst people in a real and everyday way with the help of the Holy Spirit…..Obviously with all our energy and enthusiasm it’s important to focus any activity in a direction that moves God’s kingdom forward." One of the many ways that we see this being worked out is through the schools work that we do.

Our church works in two local secondary schools teaching RE and PSHE lessons, doing detached work, lunch clubs and presenting assemblies. The work is all about building relationships - with the schools and the students and ultimately introducing students to kingdom stuff where a relationship with Jesus is the goal. We try and work in a relaxed and informal way. Whenever we present ourselves as part of the Vineyard Church we always open an invitation for the students to come and check us out on a Sunday morning.

We’ve seen some wonderful things happen amongst some of the students we work closely with and many of them now attend other activities.
The work is demanding, fun and very rewarding.

Young adults
Young Adults reaching the age of 18 are encouraged to join an Adult Home Group. Help and guidance is given to them in finding a group. For more details please contact Debbie Moscardini.

All our church family are encouraged to serve in the Vineyard Church in some way. Most of our young adults serve on set up teams, in IGNITE, our Sunday School or on worship teams.
